Abstract

The implementation of a safety culture in the shipping industry cannot be done without the full commitment of the ports where the ships operate. A major contributory factor in the implementation of such a culture is, besides the enforcement of different type of legislation, the full commitment of people. That is to say, the involvement of the human resources available.
