Abstract

Based upon origin and destination studies in the Ahvaz area that is divided in to 37 zones. Trips in the zones have been calculated by the use of present methods. A study on the distribution of trips and tendency trip lines shows that land-use in the city area is unfavorable and change is required in the longer term. In this paper we study a comprehensive analysis of trips between zones, and suggest that better communication could be achieved from different zones towards the city center.
