Abstract

The paper's aim is to evaluate the impact of an urban motorway infrastructure on the city of Genoa, its shape and its socio-economic system, focusing on the project of its demolition and the contextual, supposed, implementation of an undersea tunnel across the historical harbour docks of the city [1]. 1 The impact of the elimination of an urban transport infrastructure The layout of the transport infrastructures within a local system always influences its economic and social development.
