Abstract

This paper describes the role of beach change numerical modeling in the study of the evolution of a beach nourishment project. A brief review of the processes involved in the evolution of a nourished beach is made. Available models for sim- ulating the different processes are classified by means of the spatial and temporal scale they solve.
