Abstract

A model capable of reproducing the pollution in Central Mexico is now be- ing implemented. Among the advantages of this model is its capacity for high resolution (up to 250 m.) using two way or one way nesting. This fact allows for unprecedented detailed studies of the flow of pollution in the region. Principles of operation of MCCM, its capacity for automatically use satellite information to set up the boundary conditions and results form the detailed study of pollution in the region will be presented. 1 Introduction An air quality model called Multiscale Climate Chemistry Model (MCCM) is being implemented for the central region o
