Abstract

- This paper summarizes the results of the Dutch Emission Inventory for the base year 1993. Within this inventory all emissions to air and water from all sources in the Netherlands have been registered. The results have been ana- lysed with respect to pollutant, economic activity or sources or sources and loca- tion resulting in contributions of target group to different environmental themes'. By comparison with earlier years, trends in emissions are presented, This paper also presents preliminary emission data for 1994. The following results are pre- sented: • The emissions of greenhouse gases originate from a number of target groups. Especially 'Industry', 'Energy sector', 'Agriculture', Traffic and transporta- tion' and 'Consumers' are the main contributing target groups (79%). •
